In Mesopotamian thought, the city sat at the hinge between heaven and earth. A point which through meaning could be passed before dispersing outward. Babylon chandelier follows this principle of a center from which elements gather, align, and emanate. A solid brass spine acts as the axis, from which hand-selected marble spheres are suspended in careful accord. Lights at the arm’s end bestow their slender radiance, carrying on, far past sight.
